Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services to Hold Toy Safety Demonstrations at Toy Fair 2005
Buffalo, NY – January 11, 2005 – Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, a world leader in consumer product testing, inspection, and auditing services, will be conducting toy safety demonstrations at its booth #2719 at the 2005 American International Toy Fair, February 20-23 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.
With over 30 years experience testing millions of toys, juvenile products and premiums, BVCPS offers comprehensive testing and consulting services. Toy testing provides retailers and manufacturers with the ability to assure their products meet government regulations and industry standards, thereby helping to protect their brand and customers. The toy safety demonstrations will provide Toy Fair attendees the invaluable opportunity to participate in hands-on "use and abuse" testing (impact, torque/tension, compression), "mechanical hazards" assessment (small parts, sharp points, sharp edges), and labeling evaluations (small balls, warnings, age grading). Demonstrations will be held twice daily, Sunday, February 20 – Tuesday, February 22, at 11:00am and 3:00pm.
A BVCPS toy technical representative also will be available to answer individual questions throughout the show. Interested parties can simply stop by Booth #2719. For more information, please contact David Simonson at 1-800-277-3300 extension 3509. ##
