Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services has developed a series of Guidebooks for various markets aimed at managers and staff responsible for quality assurance and compliance issues.  The Guidebooks provide an introduction and general understanding of requirements for a variety of consumer products along with a more in-depth look at requirements for hardlines, softlines, toys and juvenile products. These publications have been produced as a result of a demand from retailers and manufacturers for concise and clear explanations of compliance requirements.

Our first publication, Compliance Guidebook USA, addressed regulatory and industry requirements in the United States. Second in the series, Compliance Guidebook Europe was designed to provide an introduction and a general understanding of the current regulatory environment in Europe. Compliance Guidebook Canada, the latest in our series, has been published to provide an introduction to regulations and requirements for products to be sold in Canada.
