Founded in 1993, Haztec has developed a high-level competence in EMC testing for the Automotive, Aeronautics and Defense market. The company, located in Courtaboeuf in the South of Paris, will enhance the scope of services currently offered by LCIE, concentrated mainly in consultancy, environmental testing and certification.
Oliver Butler, Vice President, Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, indicated that the acquisition of Haztec was a key development for LCIE in expanding its services to meet the needs of its clients. “The acquisition of Haztec will position LCIE in the Automotive, Aeronautic and Defense markets with a flexible one-stop-shopping solution. By building on the strengths of this laboratory, we will provide clients with a scope of service and support that is second to none,” stated O. Butler.
