Acquisition enhances Bureau Veritas’ leading position in technical market access solutions for electrical equipment

KAUFBEUREN, GERMANY and BUFFALO, NY USA – 16^th January 2007 — Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services (BVCPS), a world leader in product testing, certification, inspection, and approvals management services, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Germany-based INNOVA Product Service GmbH.  Based in Kaufbeuren in Bavaria, INNOVA Product Service is an industry leader providing testing and certification services for a wide range of consumer and industrial electrical equipment accessing the worldwide market.

 

The acquisition of INNOVA Product Service further strengthens BVCPS’ footprint in Germany and provides a strong platform to meet the increasingly diverse and global requirements of European manufacturers, retailers and importers.
